Hello family and friends!

Wow! I can't believe that it's October already!! It's crazy to know that I hit my half way mark this month!

This week was so good! Here are the highlights:

On Wednesday we had a lesson with D!  At the end of the lesson she asked what she and her family had to do to be baptized!!! We explained that we needed to have all the lessons and they need to keep the commandments and things like that. She said that her husband would like to sit in on the lessons as well. Yay!! She wants to do this with her family! :) and she kept referring herself as a Mormon!

On Friday we had a really cool experience. So we needed to waste our miles. And so we decided to take advantage of it. We drove to Pinconning. And we were in this neighborhood and we saw on the map that a less active named C lived there. And he happened to be outside of his house. So we got out of the car and introduced ourselves. He laughed and said that later that day he went on LDS tools and he decided to see who the missionaries were and he saw us. Shortly after we pulled over to his house. He laughed and said that he doesn't believe in coincidences. We told him that we didn't either. We talked to him for a good hour. We had a really good conversation with him. He said that he isn't ready to come back to church yet but he really looked really happy that we came.
We also went to this one restaurant for dinner. They have this thing called the Kitchen Sink. And that's when they make ice cream in a kitchen sink. It was HUGE! I will attach a pic!

Saturday night Sister Anderson and I  didn't know what we should do. It was dark and we had an hour left. We both thought of out recent converts, the M's. We decided to sticky note their door. We wrote some inspirational scriptures and told them that we loved them! On  Sunday they told guys that they knew it was us and Amy told us that she really needed that and that it made her feel happy.

Yesterday we met with D and her family. We got to know her husband J more. D said that she wants to be baptized before  Sister Anderson and I leave!! Her daughter sat through the whole lesson. She seemed really engaged! I just love this family! I know that I was supposed to be here in Bay City for them!

I love being a missionary! Thanks for all the prayers I can truly feel them! Love you all!
